    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Associate, Online Merchandising plays a crucial role supporting the Too Faced brand website for North America.  This role will be primarily responsible for driving the Too Faced merchandising strategy to align product, financial and marketing goals.  This position will support the onsite promotional events and programming to meet sales targets as well as optimize consumer engagement by enriching the customer experience, leveraging analytics and applying compelling product storytelling.  Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the Online Merchandiser will work closely with key cross-functional team members in Product Education, Sales and Global Marketing in order to deliver the best customer shopping experience.

     

    DELIVERABLES:

    • Manage category and product page presentation to inspire branded and engaging consumer shopping experience to drive conversion and sales.
    • Oversee the daily management of site content including Homepage Assets, Category Pages, Curated shops, site banners, and landing pages.
    • Analyze and drive requirements to improve the customer experience in search and browse exploration/discovery: Taxonomy, navigation, attributes, and values.
    • Manage new item launch process including, but not limited to inventory tracking, photography coordination, content coordination, team communication, Go-To-Market materials and system management.
    • Responsible for ongoing updates and maintenance in the product lifecycle including adding new stock, product details, images and copy as well as removing discontinued products, and pricing.
    • Monitor cross-departmental stock reporting to ensure accuracy of onsite product status (e.g. coming soon, new arrivals, limited edition, markdowns, out of stock, back order and pre-order).
    • Supervise user testing and QA processes on all web assets, email links, new offer codes and new products to ensure accuracy, functionality, browser compatibility as well as the highest quality of user experience.
    • Analyze and report on actionable quantitative and qualitative insights measuring Pageviews, Bounce Rates/Exits and Onsite Search data.
    • Partner with cross-functional team members in Brand Marketing, Product Education, Product Marketing and Merchandise Planning to manage web inventory and drive online merchandising strategy.
    • Develop comprehensive “super user” understanding of the tools necessary to load and maintain product details and offers.  Responsible for utilizing those tools to execute commercial programming on-site, updating site content, promotional offerings, imagery/assets, etc. 
    • Innovate new storytelling concepts to more effectively serve up inspiration and cross-sell on homepage and category pages (i.e. Product Recommendations).
    • Optimize SEO value by boosting content that can be indexed, improving onsite search tool capabilities, and by making strategic updates to product descriptions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree desired
    • 3-5+ years managing website content in Ecommerce environment required
    • Familiarity of product lifecycle and merchandising processes/flow preferred
    • Intermediate experience of Adobe Creative Cloud and CMS highly desired
    • Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics required
    • Strong ability to balance visual appearance with understanding of content hierarchy, aligning with brand and global standards
    • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly comprehend dynamic workflows and processes
    • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships inside and outside the organization
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communication with technical and non-technical audiences
    • Solid time management skills to manage multiple concurrent projects
    • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
