    SUMMARY:

    The Global Facial Treatment Protocol Creator will develop and manage spa/treatment room, at-counter and virtual services globally to strengthen brand equity, drive credentialing through facial efficacy and enhance high-touch service. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining programs and treatment protocols targeted to the business needs of La Mer and the individual global markets and will also oversee regional trainings, uniforms, and supplies for La Mer spa initiatives globally.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with Spa GM to support all aspects of global spa program, including creation of new protocols and training curriculum, training, and reinforcement of global environment/setup standards.
    • Develop new protocols for spas and at-counter services as needed, ensuring protocols are regionally relevant. Collaborate with Product Development and Global Marketing to understand new product launches and ongoing support of existing products, incorporating new products into existing protocols or creating new protocols as needed.
    • Partner with Global Lead Facial Trainer, Regional Education teams and spa partners to support training of local Facial Trainers and spa employees, including hosting annual Global Esthetician Summit, in-person or virtual Regional Treatment Workshops and ongoing virtual skillset trainings for Estheticians globally.
    • Partner with Global Lead Facial Trainer and Global Curriculum team to ensure timely development and release of relevant education assets for spa, at-counter and virtual Expert and Esthetician service protocols.
    • Research and recommend appropriate treatment tools, including application tools, treatment devices and “back bar” products, working closely with Product Development to ensure global quality and consistency of La Mer treatment rooms.
    • Work closely with Global Marketing, Consumer Insights, Consumer Engagement and Global Online teams to ensure that spa, at-counter and virtual services are used to develop and drive business as needed and strengthen consumer engagement.
    • Partner with all markets (domestic and global) to ensure spa, at-counter and virtual services needs are met, acquire feedback on existing protocols and trainings and incorporate changes as necessary; communicate spa programs and at-counter and virtual services updates to Field Education and Sales.
    • Partner with Regional Education teams to help identify key competitive trends in spa, at-counter and virtual services and make appropriate recommendations for La Mer.
    • Develop criteria for Estheticians participating in annual La Mer Miracles Challenge.
    • Reinforce comprehensive supply, environment, education, and staffing/hiring standards for spa program globally to ensure consistency in level of service provided across all tiers.
    • Act as La Mer Brand Ambassador in video content, internal and external livestreams.
    • Responsible for budget management of individual programs to contribute to overall budget management of the Global Service Experience and Education Department, including delivering all programs and materials on time and within designated budget.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of related experience; must be licensed Esthetician.
    • Well-versed in best-in-class treatment protocols and market trends.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to self-manage, work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Mandarin knowledge preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills, professional attitude, flexibility, and ability to handle change in a positive manner, strong team player.
    • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Travel required (60%).

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,500 to $195,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
