    • Cybersecurity Analyst
    • IT Compliance, Security, and Risk Analyst

    Qualifications

    Candidate Qualifications:

    • Passion and interest in cybersecurity and risk
    • Curiosity and desire to learn
    • Must be pursuing a degree in relevant IT/IS related field, (e.g. Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) with coursework in one or more of the following areas:

    Functional Skills

    • Cybersecurity fundamentals
    • IT Compliance and risk management
    • Security operations and cyber threat detection
    • Threat intelligence
    • Network security engineering
    • Secure software development /engineering
    • Security Architecture

    Relevant Technical Skills and Qualifications

    • Operating systems such as Windows, Linux, MacOS
    • Coding skills in Python, Ruby, JavaScript, C++, SQL, Powershell, or other relevant languages
    • Interest or experience in the use of tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Snort, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, nmap Working knowledge of TCP/IP
    • Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems
    • Must have good problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Is a team player
    • Is highly motivated
    • Shows a strong willingness to learn
    • Ability to work autonomously
    • Attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Qualified candidates must have completed their Junior year by program start (June 2025) and on track to graduate in May/June 2026

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour- $30.00 per hour. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a one-time stipend payment.
