    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Manager will support the North America Marketing, SMC Omni Commercial team in driving sales and market share growth of Clinique in North America through the execution of retailer-specific marketing programs & merchandising in Ulta & Ulta x Target as well as Sephora & Sephora x Kohls.   The Manager will lead multiple projects of significant brand importance, overseeing tactical and daily operations in order to execute them with excellence and remain on budget. Additionally, this position will support the account management team’s goal to strengthen communication with the field, retailer, and internal partners, create and execute omni strategies, and drive some of the fastest growing priority businesses.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Launch Planning/ Marketing Programming for Ulta Channels (Ulta, Ulta x Target, Sephora, Sephora x Kohls.)

    • Responsible for the execution of strategic retailer specific marketing strategy for priority business lines across all categories (skincare, makeup, fragrance, men’s) and turning the marketing plan into a detailed promotional plan in partnership with retailers and Account Leads

    • Champion brand equity and present innovative solutions to achieve brand and sales goals for basic business, launch, and holiday/promo event periods.

    • Identify granular opportunities while driving hero growth within each retailer. Ensure cross-functional omni execution to drive .com strategically in alignment with retail store planning and programming

    • Assist with the preparation for field and retailer presentations/interactions with respect to marketing and promotions, with the goal of generating retailer support and superior execution of Clinique programs in store.

    • Manage sampling execution across in-store & dotcom platforms.

    • Maintain seasonal marketing calendars for all accounts.

    • Oversee budget for in-store, merchandising, and sampling.

    • Support North America Account Management team on comp requests for advertising, pitching and PR.  

    • Manage all promotional development (21 DOB, 500 Point Perk, Holiday, Birthday Gift, etc.) with NA Promo & Global Promo teams. Combine retailer feedback, competitive insights, trend, with brand CRM to create compelling, high return to brand curated mixes.

    Digital Content

    • Assist North America Account Management team in the development of retailer-specific education & consumer facing content for various channels to be deployed across r.com/brand.com.

    • Own approval process for all US CANVA created content, including but not limited to promotional ads, texting templates, counter signs, in-store eventing, materials, etc.

    Eventing

    • Support the strategy and its execution, agency briefing, and on-site execution for large scale events unique to SMC channels (SLC, FLC). Ensure Senior Leadership aligned to vision and budget to execute high-touch experiences that are unique and on-brand.

    Special Projects

    • Lead all Gen-Z, digital ad hoc projects, scope and size pending time of year and task force

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • The candidate should have 5+ years of related experience.  

    • BA/BS from top school preferred.

    • Have facility to identify, prioritize and adjust to multiple needs in fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Highly detail oriented with proven project management experience.  

    • Exhibit strong analytical skills and detail orientation with strong problem solving capabilities.  

    • Requires strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups, senior brand leadership as well as with external partners. 

    • Candidate should be collaborative, proactive and resourceful.  

    • Requires an ability to navigate the organization and think of creative solutions to achieve business goals. 

    • Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills.
