    About the Job

    Lead the strategic development of the Clinique skincare portfolio—including the new and commercial skincare innovation pipeline and skincare product strategy of dermatological skin concerns and subcategories—to enhance brand equity, serve the consumer, and drive the business in priority channels and regions.

    Innovate products and concepts to accelerate Clinique, a dermatologist guided brand.

    · Own the 3-year skincare innovation strategy and 18-month detailed calendar including innovative and trendsetting market strategies, promotional programs, and product concepts in partnership with Product Development.

    · Strategically pursue white space opportunities in dermatological skin concerns based on dermatologist insights, consumer insights, social listening, CRM data etc.

    · Deliver accretive innovation on-time in partnership with Supply Chain and Operations partners.

    · Partner with VP Makeup and Fragrance to lead a mindset of “total solutions from skincare to makeup”.

    · Lead the briefing process and senior leadership socialization with partnership from Product Development and Consumer Engagement.

    Drive skincare product strategy and execution in-line with brand equity and business objectives.

    · Lead execution of overall skincare product marketing strategy including product architecture, product launch process and go-to-market strategy.

    · Lead skincare hero product strategy from implications and execution.

    · Lead the analysis and delivery of regular reports and recommendations to team and brand leadership.

    · Drive ongoing effectiveness of skincare products beyond launch.

    · Drive mid-program shifts based on analysis as necessary.

    · Manage ad hoc business analysis requests as needed.

    Lead the end-to-end launch process—from product selection to go-to-market strategies.

    · Lead execution of launch strategies within designated budget and COG targets.

    · Implement internal and external sourcing solutions for new products and existing businesses.

    · Drive development of creative briefs for all programs and launches.

    · Supervise claims testing of insight-based consumer concepts with external partners.

    · Manage strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to develop launch strategies and product briefs.

    · Develop for the consumer journey to include mobile first, social first, and video first mindsets.

    Lead marketing financial and analytic processes.

    · Allocate and assign budget investment priorities based upon key departmental objectives.

    · Enable fluid on-the-go budget spend framework informed by real time campaign performance analysis that minimizes ineffective spend and maximized ROI.

    · Manage costs across agencies and technology platform spend.

    · Manage marketing ROI by optimizing content and channel marketing investments.

    · Optimize A&P spend by developing faster and lower cost options for acquiring, engaging, and retaining consumers.

    Build and grow a team of high-performing marketers.

    · Model a collaborative and humble style while driving for excellence.

    · Prioritize individual and team development and growth.

    · Have an eye for spotting talent and providing individuals the right development experiences.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $256,000 to $435,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
