    Description

    To process orders, replenish stock, and perform all other required functions
    in an efficient and timely manner with the highest regard for quality.

    Each Aveda employee will actively participate in the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program and is required to follow all safety practices and procedures.

    Description of Duties:

    • Learns and follows Aveda/Estee Lauder Environmental, Health and Safety policies as well as
      all OSHA regulations.
    • Follows good safety practices and uses good safety work methods like the “seven steps to
      proper lifting.” For heavier cartons/objects has helper assist using “buddy lifting method.”
    • Operates cardboard and plastic bailers. Uses proper procedures and observes all safety rules
      when operating and emptying bailers. Removes bales onto pallets.
    • Sets up work area with needed supplies and keeps work area clean and free of debris. Cleans,
      sweeps and organizes as needed or directed.
    • Breaks down empty cartons and assembles new cartons as needed.
    • Builds pallets properly using bricklayer method, having heavy boxes on bottom, light packages
      on top.
    • Uses pallet jack to move pallets. Picks and replenishes using pallet jacks in 310 and 330 areas.
    • Replenishes 110 loose pick area. Uses ladder to aid in replenishing 110 loose pick area.
    • Lifts and moves cartons up to 50 lbs, often lifting carton overhead.
    • Performs bin-to-bin movements.
    • Uses RF scanner, RF gun, RF printer and hard-wired printer when picking, replenishing and
      performing cycle counts. Follows equipment control procedures and handles equipment
      properly to minimize damage.

    Qualifications

    Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

    Experience: 1 – 2 years experience in a similar work environment preferred.

    Others: SAP, WMS experience preferred. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when
    necessary. Ability to stand for eight hours daily. Ability to read, understand and speak English preferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
