Internship Job title: Digital Product Design Intern

Location: Ada, MI (Onsite or Hybrid, but prefer onsite)

In this role you will be working on the digital product design team. The design team at Amway is made up of both high-level agency resources and internal UI/UX professionals located in Michigan, California, Singapore and around the globe. Together, they have created next-level experiences for our customers and Amway Business Owners (ABOs), these include ecommerce experiences, IOT apps, business management apps, employee experiences, and future state prototypes. How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:

This position would support design team needs. Past intern projects have included interface design, competitive analysis, design system enhancements, user research and design explorations.

An example of a typical project would be:

Analyze Amway ecommerce experiences and identify experience gaps, usability improvements, and design pattern inconsistencies. Work with Design System team to build components to add to Global Component Library. Use Design System to build web or app experiences.

Required skills and background:

• Desired Major:

  • Human computer interaction, UX/UI, Graphic Design major or related field of study

• Desired Class Year:

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior

• Desired Skills:

  • Figma, Figjam, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
