Position Summary

This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025.

CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.

Our office locations for this role are Scottsdale, AZ or Woonsocket, RI. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00 per hour, with 40 hours per week, July 4th off (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

About the Business Area

Solution Engineering and Automation organization creates business solution designs that includes working at the business unit level developing the most advanced end-to-end solution architecture for highly complex and significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders.

What you will do

• Conduct POCs related Gen AI and Cloud technologies to solve a business problem and incorporate within SDLC
• POC to automate Architecture Governance by leveraging frameworks such as ArchUnit

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Required Qualifications

• Meet Education Requirements (see Education section) • Hands on experience on Cloud platform (GCP or Azure)
• Understanding of Application and Integration Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Security and Automation as well as Operations
• In depth understanding of APIs, microservices and streaming architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience (e.g., student organizations, sports, or work-related projects) • Experience leading a project at school or work • Internship or work experience in a related field • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) • An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation • Experience in enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps and DataOps
• Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies

Education

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026

• Preferred majors include Computer Science, AI/ML Data Science
