    Position Summary

    This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

    The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025.

    CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.

    Our office locations for this role are Hartford, CT and Scottsdale, AZ. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00, working 40 hours per week. Interns will not work on July 4th (company holiday) and will receive two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

    About the Business Area

    Enterprise Delivery is responsible for implementing technology solutions that support CVS Health’s business goals. Our focus includes:

    • Facilitating agile & scrum events

    • Improving team collaboration & removing impediments

    • Supporting product owners in backlog management

    • Driving continuous process improvements

    We ensure the successful adoption of the scrum framework, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, and help teams execute complex workflows efficiently.

    What you will do

    As an Enterprise Delivery Intern, you will:

    • Assist in managing complex workflows and improving team collaboration

    • Support product backlog management, prioritizing projects based on business needs

    • Communicate with product owners to ensure user experience, interface design, and usability align with project goals

    • Contribute to sprint planning by breaking down requirements into manageable tasks

    • Coordinate agile meetings to facilitate sprint reviews and address impediments

    • Draft user stories that capture specifications, criteria, and project requirements

    • Escalate project issues and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions

    • Estimate timelines and release schedules based on backlog size and team velocity

    This role provides hands-on experience in agile project management and exposure to Scrum methodologies, preparing you for future leadership roles in technology and business operations.

    Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    Required Qualifications

    • Meet Education Requirements

    • Basic understanding of problem-solving and decision-making skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Leadership experience (e.g., student organizations, projects, sports, or internships)

    • Experience leading a school or work-related project

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Internship or work experience in a related field

    • An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred

    • Proficiency in: Excel, Word, MS Project (or equivalent tools)

    • Budget management & project tracking


    Education

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026

    • Preferred majors include Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Computer/Management Information Systems Education
