Position Summary
This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.
The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025.
CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.
Our office locations for this role is Woonsocket, RI. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00 per hour, with 40 hours per week, July 4th off (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

What you will do
Our team facilitates the development and execution of learning initiatives, supporting colleagues in their technical and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support to the Learning and Development team by coordinating and executing learning programs, ensuring smooth logistics and effective communication.
• Develop compelling and engaging communication and marketing materials, adhering to internal standards and guidelines while executing communication strategies across various internal platforms.
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of internal SharePoint sites, dashboards, and other resources.
• Partner with Instructional Designers to assist in the analysis, development, design, and delivery of learning programs.
• Contribute to program management efforts by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring initiatives are completed on schedule and within scope.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of training data to generate reports that evaluate program adoption and effectiveness.
This opportunity will include work that impacts Learning and Development projects.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
Required Qualifications
• Meet Education Requirements (see Education section)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights to interpret data and generate meaningful insights
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership experience, such as active roles in student organizations, sports, or school/work-related projects
• Experience leading a school or work-related project
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Internship or work experience in a related field
• Interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health
• Experience with data and reporting to support program evaluation and decision-making
• Familiarity with learning and development methodologies (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.), approaches, and tools
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools to assist in the planning and execution of training initiatives
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and iterative development
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Education
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
• Preferred majors include Instructional Design, Industrial Psychology, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration
