    Position Summary

    This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

    The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025.

    CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.

    Our office locations for this role are Hartford, CT & Woonsocket, RI. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00, working 40 hours per week. Interns will not work on July 4th (company holiday) and will receive two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

    About the Business Area

    The Technology Business Management (TBM) Team at CVS Health plays a critical role in aligning technology investments with business objectives, ensuring that IT resources are used effectively to drive value and innovation across the organization.

    Our team:

    • Provides comprehensive analytics and strategic insights related to technology spending

    • Leverages advanced tools such as Apptio to analyze IT financial performance, optimize cloud costs, and enhance investment transparency

    • Works closely with IT, finance, and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, resource optimizations, and process improvements

    What you will do

    As a TBM Analyst Intern, you will:

    • Analyze technology investments, operational costs, and resource allocation to support TBM initiatives

    • Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide visibility into IT financial performance

    • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations

    • Support data engineering processes for integrating financial and technical data into Apptio

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, implementing best practices for data management and analysis

    Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    Required Qualifications

    • Meet Education Requirements (see Education section)

    • Familiarity with data analysis tools/software such as: Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data sets to provide meaningful insights

    • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

    • Interest in Technology Business Management (TBM) frameworks and principles

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects

    • Experience leading a school or work-related project

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Internship or work experience in related field

    • Have an interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health

    Education

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026

    • Preferred majors: Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields
