Position Summary

This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025.

CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.

Our office location for this role is Hartford, CT. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00 per hour, with 40 hours per week, July 4th off (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

What you will do

As a member of the team, you will experience working in an environment that is fast-paced and be given the opportunity to understand how we manage information security risk and technology solutions.

We currently have opportunities in the areas of computer engineering, software engineering, network engineering, automation, process engineering, software lifecycle management, access management, cloud technology and DevOps. With this internship, you will receive training, support, hands-on experience, and feedback from more experienced engineers. There will be built in activities, speakers, and other fresh approaches to learning. We are truly investing in your future and your growth in technology. • Experience leading a school or work-related project

• Internship or work experience in a related field

• An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

• Creative problem solving

• Interest in learning several aspects of the larger enterprise

Engineering & Cybersecurity related Teams:

• Programming languages: Python experience, PowerShell, YAML, Java, Angular, React

• Prior experience analyzing data

• Problem solving skills

• Hands on experience with data integrations

• Experience with relational and no-SQl databases

Digital & Solutions related Teams:

• Experience in algorithms, data structures and general computer science concepts

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026

• Preferred majors include Business (Administration and/or Management), Computer Science, Project Management, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Information Security, IT, Data Science & Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
