    Position Summary

    This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

    The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025. 

    CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. 

    Our office locations for this role will be Hartford, CT, Woonsocket, RI and Scottsdale, AZ. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $ per hour with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.  Please disregard the range listed below.

    Our organization, Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness (PCW) Technology and Digital supports various experiences across Consumer Health & Wellness and Omnichannel Pharmacy. We are committed to an ‘experience-first’ approach to capability design that drives proactive product innovation by improving efficiency, allowing for continuous improvement, and supporting end-to-end delivery. 

    Supply Chain & Logistics technology is responsible for developing and executing the company’s strategy to transform our supply chain network to become America’s premier health and wellness destination. We support systems related to transportation & logistics, warehouse control systems, inventory management, omnichannel fulfillment, and network engineering.

    What you will do

    We are looking for an intern that will help us stabilize, modernize, and optimize our systems to promote Distribution Center operational and service excellence, improving downstream inventory accuracy in real-time as products move through our supply chain.

    Our ideal intern will focus on advancing our new modernized Warehouse Management System to drive continuous quality improvement, standardize performance indicators, and optimize operating routines. You will deliver on technology initiatives in a fast-paced organization while building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners.

    Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    Required Qualifications

    • Meet educational requirements (see Education section) 
    • Experience designing and building software applications with proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Internship or work experience in related field
    • Working experience of GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
    • Experience with triage and identification of functional, performance and scaling opportunities
    • Experience encouraging teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness
    • Experience being resourceful and quickly and successfully adapting to change
    • Have an interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health

    Education

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026 
    • Preferred majors include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Programming
