Internship Job Title: Software Engineer Internship – LOS & VCS

What is special about this team: The LOS & VCS team is currently taksed with modernizing one of our key Sales solutions, the LOS. This team works with modernized serverless/cloud based AWS technologies focused on implementing these technologies using modernized DevSecOps and Agile principles.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: This intern would have direct impact to how we modernize our LOS/VCS systems including innovating within our AWS architecture. They would have opportunites to both learn our existing serverless architectural components and Agile methodologies but also educate the team on other innovative solutions.

An example of a typical project is: Working in an Agile framework, the team executes bi-weekly sprints around specific goals that they want to achieve, as a team, for the LOS/VCS products they are developing. A typical day includes a standup with the team, some design sessions and then ultimately some time to build the two products we are responsible for.

What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship?

Desired Skills: Some AWS/Cloud development expeience, an understanding of what “Agile” is and how to execute “Scrum”.

Desired Prospective Degree: Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems
