Horizon Health in Howard, SD is seeking a Full Time Accounting and Payroll Specialist who is responsible for various accounting tasks that are assigned by the Controller. This position must be able to apply accounting principles and carry out proper internal control procedures. Horizon Health offers a collaborative, team-oriented work environment focused on meeting the needs of individual patients while supporting and contributing to the health and wellness of our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in the accounting.
Enter data into computer accounting software system including vendor invoices.
Compile data and a variety of reports.
Investigate questionable data.
Reconcile bank statements for all Horizon sites.
Assist Controller with gathering information and preparing documentation for the annual audit.
