    EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST

    Accra is a non-profit organization offering the best in personalized, self-directed home care. Accra provides employee, client, and billing services for various programs including Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Choice, Fiscal Support Entity (FSE) and Home Health Agencies. We are located in Minnetonka and offer services in all of Minnesota’s 87 counties, with offices in Alexandria, Red Wing, Fergus Falls, Moorhead, Winona, Lake City, Duluth, Grand Rapids, Bemidji, and Brainerd.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    The Employee relations specialist  will be responsible for answering calls and emails for the Agency HR team,  Review and authorize employee overtime and resolve employee incidents.

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Four year degree or 1 year of experience in a human resources field. Exposure to home health or human services is a plus
    • Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes. Accra Care is looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is eager to learn and grow in the PCA Choice field.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 

    • Be responsible for answering incoming phone calls and emails to the Agency HR extension and group inbox with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
    • Review and authorize employee overtime
    • Help resolve employee incidents
    • Be assigned High Touch COVID cases and provide employees with information on lost wages
    • Distribute incoming application materials for processing
    • Be able to direct callers or tasks to other Human Resources Teams
    • Work with internal and external parties to resolve issues brought to the HR team.
