Responsibilities * Responds to all emergencies within the hospital campus * Performs patrols and escorts on hospital property * Investigates calls for service and prepares written reports * Staffs the Communications center * Enforces criminal ordinances and makes physical arrests * Enforces administrative rules * Serves as a department liaison to hospital, department, and other customers * Equipment usage Education * High school graduate or GED required * Two years post secondary education, or currently enrolled in a security, law enforcement, or criminal justice undergraduate degree program preferred

Casual officers are used to cover open shifts due to officer training, paid time off, or other determined needs. This position requires the candidate to be flexible with work hours and days. The candidate may work Days, Evenings, and Nights, including weekends on an as-needed/as-available basis.
