The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant will be working with a team of 3 Neurologists, Practice Manager, MA's and support staff, and will provide care to established Neurology patients within a defined scope of practice. Depending on experience, this Provider will have additional responsibilities including supporting hospital consults. Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford is a 378-bed state-of-the-art facility, Level II Trauma Center and regional referral hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon QUALIFICATIONS Education · Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or an accredited Physician Assistant program approved by the American Medical Association Desired experience/attributes · Minimum 2 years of experience as a Provider in Neurology is required Licensure/Certifications · One of the following required upon start: o Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) along with a DEA certificate o Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants along with a DEA certificate · Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start About Asante and Southern Oregon Asante is a local, community owned and governed, not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive health care services to more than 550,000 people in a nine-county area of Southern Oregon and Northern California.
