    The Associate Director, Immunology Training will serve as the lead to identify the training needs, coordinate the development of the training program, and conduct the clinical and developmental training for the Medical Affairs (MA) Immunology staff. This training will prepare staff to educate and conduct scientific exchanges with Healthcare Providers and Opinion Leaders, to support the clinical research program, to provide internal scientific support, and function as a member of the larger MAF team. This position will serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned area of responsibility, with a focus on Dermatology.

    Essential Functions Include:

    • Support MA initiatives by developing and delivering objective-driven training programs for existing and emerging Immunology products and disease states.

    • Lead the development of an instructionally sound training curriculum that aligns with the medical strategy and the annual training plan

    • Support MA by developing and delivering professional development training to meet organizational initiatives and priorities.

    • Proactively contribute to the development of cross-functional J&J MA training team strategy

    • Be the point person to evaluate the impact of learning technologies and other modes of training. Adjust and adapt the training programs based on feedback from these evaluations

    • Identify and evaluate novel approaches to learning programs, learning technologies and the delivery of training programs

    • Optimize resources to maximize productivity by collaborating with US MA Immunology organization, including field-based medical staff, to identify new technologies to enhance effectiveness

    • Collaborate with the Learning Excellence team to maintain clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and expectations for the new hire on-boarding process

    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to leverage knowledge, resources and share best practices

    • Manage learning technologies including, but not limited to the following: SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Summit, Articulate 360, Canva, Edcast, Xyleme, and various meeting platforms

    Qualifications:

    A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.

    Advanced degrees are highly preferred.

    A minimum of 6 years of related professional experience (medical science liaison, medical communications, clinical research associate, clinical research, clinical practice, academic position in health science research) is required.

    An adult learning background is preferred.

    Training experience is preferred.

    Organizational coach or organizational development education is preferred.

    In-depth therapeutic knowledge is preferred.

    This role is located in Horsham, PA and may require up to 10% travel.
