    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Baker/Cook to join our culinary team. You will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

    • Follows recipes and/or product directions to prepare items from scratch such as breads, rolls, muffins, biscuits, etc.
    • Regulates the drafts and temperatures of the ovens.
    • Removes baked items from ovens and applies appropriate toppings.
    • Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold dishes according to recipes and production sheets
    • Assist in batch cooking items to ensure optimal food quality and consistency
    • Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service
    • Instruct kitchen attendants regarding menu offerings and changes
    • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
    • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils throughout the shift
    • Adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment

    Pre-Employment Background Check Required

    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to read, understand and follow recipes and production sheets accurately
    • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and adjusting recipe quantities
    • Culinary school training, ServSafe certification or other relevant education are a plus
