    In this vital role, Quality Management Nurse will be part of a small team dedicated to supporting the many different Riverside programs with the goal of continuously improving quality across every Riverside division, for all persons served.

    The Quality Management Nurse will:

    • audit the medical records of our individuals living with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Acquired Brain Injuries
    • provide guidance on medical issues to program directors and nurses working in the field
    • ensure regular review of health, safety, and infection control policies
    • assist in investigations involving medical issues
    • provide Medication Administration Program policy support to managers of MAP certified programs
    • provide medical protocol trainings to new employees if needed
    • fill the role of Riverside schools nurse

    Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week - flexible hybrid schedule; must be available for weekly Tuesday QM team meeting

    Required Skills

    • Ability to offer guidance to nurses and other employees on Medication Administration Program (MAP) policy

    • High-level verbal and written communication skills

    • Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office

    • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

    Required Experience

    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Licensure as a Registered Nurse required; must be in good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing
    • Three to five years of nursing experience
    • Experience with training
    • Completion of the MDPH approved MAP Train the Trainer program
