    ROLE OVERVIEW

    We seek a Business Development Specialist who can operate across a broad s pectrum of Business Development (BD) activity from client lifecycle campaign activation to account management and BD operations. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, client-centric and results oriented who is comfortable contributing within a team-based structure, and also driven to meet individual goals.

    This individual will be a key coordination point between the CCQS BD Executives, BD Directors and BD Growth Enablement, playing a critical role in client nurturing as well as sales suppor t and business development operations .

    This role will collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization and reports to the CCQS Business Development Executive, Team Leader with strong cross functional alignment to Marketing, BD Growth Enablement, Practice Leaders and Managers.     KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    Business development activation:

    • Identify key players in accounts for BD outreach, maintaining data sources ( i.e. Salesforce) with current contact profiles and information

    • Monitor key events and agreed-upon triggers in accounts (leadership change, ratings and rankings change, news about specific accounts or organizations , etc. ) and collaborate with account team on the execution of timely, personalized outreach

    • Partner with BD Growth Enablement to support territory and business goals, activating e mail engagement that improves campaign response rates , nurtures client lifecycle and relationships with thought leadership content, Chartis updates, practice area trends, etc. and create s awareness and interest in CCQS offering s

    • Leverage approved content, email templates and other tools to proactively engage clients on behalf of the entire account team , canvas a dedicated territory and prim e them for BD Executive and Director touchpoints .

    • Seamlessly connect BD Director/Executive to c lient inquiries generated from BD Specialist outreach on behalf of entire Account Team

    • Run experiments, track performance, and continually optimize campaigns to build and scale a highly efficient mix of outreach messaging and calls to action

    • Maintain client reference lists and help identify case study opportunities .

    Business development operations

    • Adhere to and drive optimized sales document workflows and processes, monitoring cycle times and escalations providing world-class client experiences

    • Perform ad hoc duties as an active and engaged member of the business development intact team, working collectively to drive process improvements and business success

    Account management activity

    • Support BD team, taking on additional activities related to engagements, proposals and RFPs as needed

    • Independently manage Inbound leads generated from accounts < $250M , following BD qualification, scoping and proposal processes

    QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS

    • Strong business acumen to learn our business, our buyers’ issues, and the capabilities we bring to solve them

    • Proven record of partnering with sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets

    • Demonstrated success in exceptional and professional client engagement and responsiveness

    • Bachelor’s degree required , preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism

    • 1-2 years of experience executing measurable integrated demand programs that drive net new pipeline and revenue

    • Creative problem solver, flexible and resourceful

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

    • Working knowledge of key marketing and sales technology: Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent, CVENT or equivalent.

    Salary range: $60,000-65,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
