    Job Description:

    Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a highly qualified person for a Capacity Planner III in Cornelia, GA.

    Position Summary:

    Contributes to the Production Planning and Scheduling team as an established and productive individual contributor, who works under moderate supervision. Helps implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's overall Production Planning and Scheduling strategy. Applies practical knowledge of the production planning field to administer best of class policies, procedures, and plans for the area.

    Duties and Responsibilities include:

    • Helps establish and implement programs and innovative initiatives for the Production Planning and Scheduling area, under general supervision.

    • Contributes to components of projects, programs, or processes for the Production Planning and Scheduling area.

    ​Identifies opportunities to integrate methods based on analyses of trends and the competitive landscape to continually improve the organization's production strategy.

    • Communicates with Manufacturing on a daily basis to manage shop priorities, part shortages, and capacity conflicts.

    • Documents imbalances and provides recommendations to related teams to balance existing and planned workloads against available material supply.

    • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.

    • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

    Qualifications:

    • University/ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.

    • At least 2-4 years work experience is required.

    • Basic or advanced computer and database management skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.

    • Statistical and analytical problem solving.

    • Prefer knowledge of lean manufacturing and manufacturing processes such as Just in Time (JIT), KANBAN, Pull Systems.

    • MFG/PRO, Excel. Other computer skills as required.

    • Understanding of ICO, IPC, and PRA processes.

    • Understand and adhere to EPS principles and rules.

    • Self-motivated and capable of taking a lead position in completing duties in results-oriented work environment.

    • Ability to work under pressure achieving consistently high results in quality, efficiency, and compliance through individual and team efforts.
