Job Summary Provides scheduled floor maintenance, corrective and salvage care of corridor and other assigned areas of the Hospital in accordance with Environmental Services procedures, schedules, and standards of performance. Must have working knowledge of automatic scrubbers, extractors - self-propelled/riding, buffers/rotos, wet/dry vacuums, mops, buckets, cleaning solutions, hand tools,supplies, and utility carts. Job Qualifications High School graduate or GED equivalent. An Environmental Services Technician requires a minimum of one to three months housekeeping work experience in a health care setting. The ability to speak, read, write English in order to follow instructions, job assignments, schedules, work orders, and safety labels. Experience in a hospital is preferred.
