_ Cardiac Sonographer III, Part Time, Weekend, 2 -10hr shifts 6am or 7:30am start_

** $7,500 Sign-On Bonus; Restrictions may apply**

• ** Key Responsibility 1** : Executes clinical competence in cardiac sonography in all locations across all patient types. **** Selects accurate equipment and technical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of the patient. * Actively participates in the Clinical Ladder Program, if implemented, at the individual System hospital/location, meeting and maintaining all Program standards and requirements.
• ** Key Responsibility 2** : Applies knowledge of cardiac sonography principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, physics, positioning and patient care skills. Adheres to Joint Commission, State, Federal and departmental regulatory compliance standards.
• ** Key Responsibility 3** : Documents accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
• ** Key Responsibility 4** : Ensures a safe and appropriate work environment. Maintains supplies and inventory in area. Informs appropriate colleague when supplies need to be ordered from outside vendors. Documents and reports related equipment/environmental problems and follows up for resolution, in accordance with policy.
• ** Key Responsibility 5** : Actively participates, and takes a leadership role, in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to improve workflows, patient experience and quality. Participates as a clinical competency evaluator for students and/or a preceptor for employee training and educational activities.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduation from an approved and accredited Ultrasound Educational Program

Experience

• 5+ years of experience

Licensures/Certifications

• RDMS certification OR CCI certification
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
