    Job Description:

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Personal Care Assistance * Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. * Support clients with mobility and transferring (e.g., bed to wheelchair).
    2. Companionship and Emotional Support * Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance quality of life. * Provide emotional reassurance and a caring presence.
    3. Meal Preparation and Nutrition * Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs. * Assist with feeding if necessary and ensure proper hydration.
    4. Medication Reminders * Prompt clients to take medications as directed by their healthcare provider. * Maintain accurate records of medication reminders provided.
    5. Light Housekeeping * Perform household tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning. * Maintain a safe and tidy living environment for clients.
    6. Transportation and Errands * Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands. * Ensure safe transportation and provide physical assistance if needed.
    7. Monitoring and Reporting * Observe and document any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition. * Communicate concerns promptly to supervisors or family members.
    8. Specialized Care (if applicable) * Provide care for clients with specific conditions, such as dementia, Parkinson's, or post-surgical recovery, as trained.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous caregiving experience or CNA certification required.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if driving required).
    • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to details.
