Care to Stay Home a leader in the home care industry is looking for caregivers to join our team! we are a family owned and operated in home care agency in business since 2008. When you join our team you will be working with clients following a one-on-one care plan in their homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with bathing, grooming, hygiene and other personal care needs

Aid in cooking/meal preparation

Light housekeeping tasks, like changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home

Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles

Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor

Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert

Give medication reminders

Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Dependability to show up for assigned shifts on time

Shifts Available:

Days between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm - 4 hour part time, 8 hour full time, 12 hours (3 or 4 days a week)

Nights between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am - 12 hour awake shifts

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED

At least two years of experience caring for seniors

CNA highly desirable but experience will substitute

Driver’s license required

CPR certification preferred
