Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide essential care and support to a client who require assistance with daily activities and medical needs, including feeding tube management. The ideal candidate will have a background in patient care, with specific experience in handling feeding tubes, and ensuring overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Manage and maintain feeding tube, including proper placement, cleaning, and administration of feeds as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record fluid intake, food intake
• Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring accuracy
• Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure the client's comfort and well-being.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior
• Follow infection control and hygiene procedures, especially in relation to feeding tube care.
• Ensure a safe living environment, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the client's space.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a caregiver, or CNA with a focus on individuals with feeding tubes.
• Knowledge of feeding tube types (e.g., PEG, G-tube, J-tube) and proper care techniques.
• Compassionate and patient, with a desire to provide high-quality care.
• Valid driver's license
• 24 hours a week, with one of the days being a Saturday 8am-2pm.
