    Shift: Part-Time or Full-Time, 16 - 32 hours per week (Flexible schedule & hours)

    Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy Clinic

    Pay: $27 - $37/hr. Individual pay dependent on location, experience and job related factors.

    Location: Tukwila, WA (13050 Military Rd. S. Tukwila, WA 98168)

    We are seeking an Industrial Athletic Trainer / Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our clinic in Tukwila. This role will be in our outpatient physical therapy clinic. We’re expanding our Work Conditioning & Return-to-Work Program to assist injured workers in safely regaining their strength, endurance, and functional abilities to return to the workforce. In this role, you will collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and rehab aides to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Conduct Functional Assessments: Evaluate patients' physical capabilities and limitations in relation to their job requirements.
    • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized rehabilitation programs using exercise, manual therapy, and other treatment modalities to address impairments and functional limitations.
    • Lead Functional Training: Guide patients in improving job-specific skills, including strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
    • Facilitate Work Simulation Activities: Design and supervise job-related tasks to assess and improve patients' ability to safely perform work duties.
    • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with occupational therapists, physicians, case managers, and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive and effective rehabilitation process.
    • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment Plans: Track patient improvements and modify treatment programs as needed to support a safe and timely return to work.
    • Educate Patients on Injury Prevention: Provide guidance on proper body mechanics, ergonomic techniques, and safe work practices to reduce the risk of re-injury.
    • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and recommendations in compliance with healthcare and workplace standards.

    Education & Experience:

    • Current State licensure as Athletic Trainer
    • ATC Certified (through BOCATC)
    • Current Athletic Trainer license in good standing with the State.
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Experience in occupational health, Industrial settings, or work hardening programs
    • 1 year of athletic training experience preferred; New graduates welcome to apply
