The Chief Behavioral Health Strategy Officer (CBHSO) serves as a member of Riverside’s Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the oversight of developing, executing, sustaining, and communicating the organization’s behavioral health strategic initiatives alongside the CEO, EVP, and CFO.
The CBHSO provides leadership, oversight, professional guidance, and coaching in program and project development of service delivery within the organization. The CBHSO is involved in operational day to day projects, working with key staff on critical initiatives.
Additionally, the CBHSO as part of the Executive Leadership Team will lead in the identification of business opportunities, service trends, and key program and departmental integration projects. The CBHSO ensures high quality services that effectively carry out the organization’s mission and strategic plan in a fiscally, legally, and ethically responsible manner that is compliant with regulatory and contractual obligations and Riverside policy.
Schedule: Hybrid with two days in-office each week required

Required Skills
* Must have the ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written communications including public presentations
Good computer skills and comfort with excel and other electronic programs
Experience leading project planning and management
Demonstrated knowledge and ability in budget development and oversight, program development, personnel management and public relations
Ability to drive independently to program, payor, and other sites throughout eastern and central Massachusetts
Ability to effectively perform job responsibilities in fast paced, high stress environment requiring multi-tasking and prioritization
Required Experience
At least 15 years of healthcare/human service experience preferred
At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position preferred
