Details Description Clinica Sierra Vista currently operates
comprehensive primary care community health centers in the rural and
urban areas of Kern, Fresno, and Inyo Counties, located in California,
encompassing several thousand square miles of farm land, desert, and
mountain areas. Community health centers provide comprehensive primary
and preventative health care, including medical, dental and behavioral
health services, in areas where access to health care has historically
been inadequate. Additionally, we operate multiple health education,
prevention and case management programs providing a comprehensive array
of health and human services. We serve primarily the low-income and
uninsured population, including migrant farm workers, the homeless, and
other special populations. Essential Functions: * Answer incoming calls
for HR department. * Responsible for opening and distributing all
incoming mail. * Responsible for entry into the HRIS system of all new
hires and insures employees are set up in the HRIS system accordingly. *
Responsible for taking new employee or current employee photos and
making identification badges. * Responsible for keeping up-to-date
supervisor assignments on the HRIS system and making changes as
appropriate when supervisory turnover occurs. * Processes employee
evaluations, reclassifications, new hires and rate increases
appropriately in accordance with established compensation structure and
guidelines. * Responsible for entering information into the HCM system
for current employees as needed (i.e., physician contract renewal dates,
training conducted, position title changes, leave of absence in box,
etc.). * Responsible for processing and notifying appropriate
departments (i.e. Payroll, A/P, etc.) of all employee changes * Responds
to inquiries from outside entities for employment references and
verification of income requests. * Is knowledgeable of company benefit
package and answers employee inquiries as appropriate. * Assist in other
administrative and clerical duties as assigned Other Responsibilities:
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may include Saturday.
Qualifications: * Strong Microsoft Excel Skills * High School graduate
or equivalent. * Must be 18 years of age. * College level business,
secretarial classes desirable. * Two years responsible experience as a
full-time administrative assistant. * Ability to type at least 60 words
per minute with accuracy. * Knowledge of correct punctuation, grammar
and spelling required. * Ability to prioritize work. * Must be
proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word & Excel a must) *
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. * Must be familiar with
