We are seeking a manager-level contractor role to support Neuroscience portfolio assets. The contractor will have the opportunity to support launch and on-market assets in Migraine. The purpose of this role is to provide meaningful, hands-on research experience and professional development opportunities to candidates with proven performance and leadership potential. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HEOR projects (prospective, retrospective RWE, economic modeling, PRO’s, meta-analyses, and hybrid designs) from study inception to completion.
- This includes conceptualizing research plans, protocol development, managing vendors, and writing/ presenting key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development of scientific materials like slide decks, white papers, abstracts or manuscripts for disseminating research findings to internal/external audience.
- Attend neuroscience, department, and cross-functional team meetings to gain a better understanding of the role of HEOR within the biopharmaceutical industries and at Client.
- Consult with HEOR and cross-functional stakeholders to identify evidence gaps and align HEOR evidence generation with business priorities.
Requirements:
- Doctoral or master’s degree in an HEOR related field (Epidemiology, health economics, public health, statistics, health services research, health policy, pharmacy, medicine, and related disciplines).
- At least 1 year of graduate level coursework in HEOR-related field, strong academic performance (cumulative GPA = 3.0/4.0), and prior industry experience will also be considered.
- Ability to independently execute HEOR projects including prospective and retrospective RWE, economic modeling, patient centered outcomes research, post-hoc analysis of clinical trials, and meta-analyses.
- Self-driven and highly motivated to tackle new challenges to demonstrate outcomes of innovative assets and insure patient access through evidence generation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strategic mindset and ability to prioritize multiple projects according to dynamic business needs.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization with global cross-functional partners to align evidence generation activities with global and affiliate priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or related managed care or consulting environment.
- Adept in data analysis using statistical package (e.g. SAS, R, Stata) and advanced analytical approaches.
