Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator - Full Time, Days - Clinical Supply Chain Mgmt. - - 07:00 AM - 03.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for assisting the Director of Clinical Supply Chain Management in the control of inventory supplies for LICH. Assists in accomplishing facility inventory turn goals and other inventory related objectives within the department, including but not limited to, accurate recommended reorder points, reorder quantities, limit out of stock issues, increase use of consignment and ongoing evaluation of supply movement. Implements strategies that will financially and administratively enhance service and utilizes the functioning of the department maximizing all resources available to accomplish its goals. Also responsible for first line supervision of all Clinical Supply Chain activities, staff scheduling, shift management and the coordination of delivery of medical surgical supplies to the Surgical and Procedural Suites. Responsible for assistance with hiring process of prospective candidates and the onboarding process of new hires.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree with 0-1 year of experience, or the equivalent combination of education/experience. Strong skills related to the management of inventory control with a 0-1 year of progressive work experiences in supply distribution. Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management general operations. Knowledge of specialty health care products. Must possess extensive customer service skills as well as intricate computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP). Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical/surgical supplies. 1-2 years of EPIC/patient scheduling experience. (Peoplesoft 9+ preferred)

Long Island Community Hospital provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,500.00 - $64,350.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
