    ** JOB SUMMARY**

    We are actively looking for a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a key role in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing ongoing support and supervision to our clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and functional analyses (FAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
    • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based strategies and techniques.
    • Provide direct one-on-one behavior therapy to clients, implementing behavior intervention plans with fidelity and making data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to establish treatment goals and objectives and monitor progress.
    • Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members to ensure the consistent implementation of behavior intervention plans.
    • Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
    • Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Provide training to educate team members on behavior reduction, crisis management, and skill acquisition as part of a BIP.
    • Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavior analysis services to individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a clinical or school-based setting.
    • Strong clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
    • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to inform treatment planning and monitor progress.
    • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in Connecticut.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

    • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
