As a DATA ANALYST INTERN, you will be part of our Business Insights reporting team, and within the group you will help build and mature analytical solutions related to Members in Distress & Call. You will be focused in on building solutions to create insights from data and answer ad hoc data questions, so that we can identify members that need a deeper level of assistance from us as an organization. You will serve as a liaison between business units and the business intelligence and technology development teams to enhance collaboration and blur the lines of organizational silos.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide analytic support to formulate and execute on a portfolio of Members in Distress & Call analytical solutions
• Promote change management and transformation as team moves to newer technologies and practices
• Work with leadership team on analytics value opportunities on an ongoing basis and translate solutions into a re-usable, more standardized framework
• Partner with the Lines of Business to ensure that the solutions can be embedded as a part of their operations to drive focus in helping our members.
• Work with other Business Insights team members and business partners to help drive to a 'team of one' strategy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at an accredited university in the area of data analytics, mathematics, statistics finance, economics or related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills
• Curiosity, an analytical mindset and the desire to solve problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience or desire to work with data queries, SQL, analysis and reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, etc.
• Experience or desire to work with Data Visualization / Data Storytelling techniques
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis purposes
