The Co-Ops in Data Analytics are responsible for supporting the execution of ad hoc analyses, automated performance dashboards, and Management reports across the Janssen Neuroscience and Infectious Diseases/Vaccines Portfolio of products. This position will support the Commercial Insights & Strategy team through the accurate and timely synthesis and delivery of multiple secondary data sources. Additionally, this position will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the data through collaborations (with internal and external partners), data investigations, and adherence to strict QC processes.
The Data Analytics Co-op position is available at Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson located in Titusville, New Jersey.
The Co-op Program is a six-month program (planned for June 19 - December 22, 2023) focused on providing college students with practical business experience. It allows students to develop leadership, technical, and communication skills as well as broaden their understanding of the concepts learned in the classroom by implementing them with the Johnson & Johnson data analytics team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ad hoc analyses utilizing secondary data sources
Process and analyze performance trends through automated dashboards
Collaborate with key internal and external partners on national and subnational reporting deliverables
Conduct deep dives and targeted analytics to answer critical business questions that arise from the weekly and monthly performance results
Qualifications
Analytical mindset and comfort conducting analyses using large amounts of data is required
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint) is required
Experience utilizing dashboards and data visualization software (Tableau and/or Dataiku) is preferred but not required
Experience in pharma data (patient, physician, claims, etc.), data integration, and pharma analytics/metrics is preferred but not required
Permanent US work authorization without the need for sponsorship now, or in the future (F1 or H1B requires sponsorship in future)
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
Be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Ability to work full time (40 hours a week) ~ June 2023 through December 2023
Commit to a June 2023 Co-Op start date
By start date, must be considered an undergraduate sophomore or above
The anticipated base pay for this position is between $22.75/hour and $29/hour, but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Interns may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
