    We are searching for the best talent for our Surgical Robotics Electrical Engineering Co-op, based in Santa Clara, CA.
    You will be responsible for:

    • Participate in requirements gathering, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers.
    • Schematic capture and PCB layout for new board designs and required test fixtures.
    • Prototyping and testing necessary hardware, analog/digital circuits used for product design.
    • Collaborate with mechanical, software and system engineers to develop integrated solutions.
    • Participate in hardware verification and validation testing following necessary procedures.
    • Assist in creating electronic hardware documentation and release packages.
  • Qualifications

    Education:

    • Enrollment in BSEE or equivalent
    • Basic understanding and experience with oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and DMM’s
    • Fundamental knowledge of circuit design and electrical engineering theory
    • Ability to interpret schematics for board bring up, debug, and verification testing.
    • Problem solving skills, interest in analysis, ability to multi-task and teamwork.
    • Prior experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools is a plus.
    • The anticipated base pay for this position for candidates in a Robotics discipline is Sophomore $31.00/hr, Junior $34.50/hr, Senior $38.00/hr, Masters $45.00/hr, PhD $59.00/hr.
