The company has developed the KneeKG system, a proprietary, innovative, non-invasive method to measure knee function under dynamic weight-bearing conditions. The KneeKG is a game changer for patients, providers and payers. It brings Knee Kinesiography assessment into the clinic; like a gait lab in a box. This innovative medical device enables clinics to provide in clinic 3D High-Tech Dynamic Knee Assessment to quickly diagnose pathologic patterns, provide objective information to help develop a focused treatment strategy and serve as the ultimate measurement tool to enhance patients in-office care and maximize their clinical outcome and satisfaction. Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) Emovi is currently looking for an in-field-based clinical professional with scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise, in orthopaedics or sport medicine area. Knowledge in the field of biomechanics is also relevant. The MSL will be responsible for providing medical and scientific support for Emovis Medical Affairs activities in relation the KneeKG system. The MSL will be responsible for engaging in accurate scientific and clinical discussions with medical and scientific experts, including Healthcare Professionals and Managed Markets Customers, consistent with Medical Affairs objectives. Position to be filled in various territories * Northeast : Ideal candidate will live in Pennsylvania * Midwest: Ideal candidate will live in Indiana * South Est: Ideal candidate will live in Florida * South Central: Ideal candidate will live in Texas Responsibilities: * Develop, foster and enhance peer-level, professional, scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, medical, scientific, key therapeutic experts, including but not limited to Healthcare Professionals (physicians, orthopedic surgeons, sport med MD and surgeons, PA, MA, physical therapist, nurse etc.) and Managed Markets Customers consistent with Medical Affairs objectives. * Serve as a primary field Medical Affairs contact providing accurate and appropriate clinical & scientific information exchanges * Provide actionable information that enhances the value of Knee Kinesiography and appropriate use of KneeKG in a clinical setting * Provide timely responses to customer inquiries ensuring focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use KneeKG and services * Assist all stakeholders throughout the continuum of patient care (including but not limited to front desk staff, reimbursement, billing, physician, surgeons PT, etc.) as well as patients. * Provide clinical support and deliver data presentations regionally and nationally at sponsored meetings and seminars * Identify opportunities and conduct formal presentations to essential groups as requested by medical and technical healthcare professionals, including key accounts, hospital therapeutic committee members, along with presentations of medico-economic data in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, regulatory guidelines and ethical standards. * Provide assistance in the development of payer tools/dossiers to demonstrate value from a payer perspective to support the safe and appropriate use of the KneeKG

    • Develop medical education materials such as slide kits, monographs, etc. * Interface with key customers/opinion leaders and assist internal stakeholders in interpretation of key scientific data to support policy decision-makers * Perform and explain Knee Kinesiography exams with the KneeKG system * Provide recommendations and instructions on how to integrate Knee Kinesiography data in patient management based on clinical and scientific information. * Identify and accurately present Investigator Initiated Study or other form of clinical proposals for internal Emovi review and support consideration. * Identify study investigators in alignment with Medical Affairs objectives * Prepare reports for scientific advisory boards and align key messages and action plan for costumers based on SAB decision * Provide Medical Affairs booth support at National and Regional level conferences and congress meetings. * Adhere to internal standard processes and comply with regulatory and compliance requirements Internal Contacts/Customers and External Internal Contacts * Chief Scientific Officer (Primary) * Medical Affairs Team Members * Commercialization Team (US and/or Canada) External Contacts * Medical and scientific Experts * Health Care Professionals * Managed Markets Customers * Clinical investigators * Professional Associations / Societies Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Knowledge of key targets, customer segments, and market dynamics (medical devices and orthopaedics) * Proactive, driven with the ability to work with new and innovative technologies * Thorough knowledge of clinical treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, customer strategies, medical devices, and FDA promotional guidelines, regulations, and ethical guidelines is preferred * Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated ability in presenting clinical and scientific data in various settings * Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences * Excellent project management ability * Proven success with strategic and operational achievements * Project management experience within a team environment * Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Collaborative personality. * Strong leadership capabilities * Thorough knowledge of Regulatory environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Self-directed Education and Experience * Minimum of a Masters degree in Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Physical therapy or other related field * Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) STRONGLY PREFERRED. Strong Medical Affairs experience may be considered. * Orthopaedic, Musculoskeletal, Rheumatologic, Sports Medicine, Medical Device experience/background STRONGLY PREFERRED. * Established track record and experience in clinical research Work Environment Regular travel to key accounts via car and plane: Up to 70% (will require some overnight travel) Emovi welcomes all qualified applicants.
