    DePuy Synthes is looking for 5 Co-Ops for the Fall 2025 cycle. The co-ops will be split among 4 different departments, each with their own unique contributions to the site’s value streams. 2 Co-Ops will be assigned to a site expansion team working to double the manufacturing capabilities of our facility. 1 Co-op will work with the Manufacturing Process Team to improve and optimize current manufacturing processes. 2Co-Ops will support The End-to-End Project team and End-to-End Delivery team with Engineering and Capital Equipment Projects such as equipment validations and New Product Introductions (NPI). These are all In-Office positions and are not eligible for Remote or Hybrid work.

    The Engineering Co-op will:

    • Assist in process, project, and / or quality activities across the manufacturing network
    • Become involved in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility
    • Develop a range of business documents including but not limited to validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions.
    • Support senior engineers on various Business Continuity and / or Cost Improvement projects
    • Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements or changes

    Qualifications

    • Required:
      • Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering curriculum
      • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
      • Understanding of common engineering analysis tools (such as statistical process control) and reporting mechanisms
      • Strong verbal and communication skills
      • Ability to commute 5 days / week to the facility located in Raynham, MA.
    • Preferred:
      • STEM field
      • Previous experience in GMP manufacturing, medical devices, or FDA related activities
      • Proven experience with Project Management is a plus
      • A minimum of 1 prior Co-Op experience

    Applicable pay range : $22.00 per hour to $51.50 per hour

    The anticipated base pay for this position is between $22.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
