    The Experienced Analyst Process Excellence, QC will support management with strategic initiatives for the US Stability Laboratory operations, ensuring GMP compliance, accuracy and timeliness of specified project and processes. This role carries out duties in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines (including FDA, EPA, DEA, OSHA, etc.) as well as all company and site policies and procedures.

    The Experienced Analyst Process Excellence, QC is accountable for working with the NJ Stability Laboratory to identify areas for continuous improvement, implement strategic initiatives to increase the laboratories operating model and support all objectives associated with the organization’s technology roadmap.

    This position will also be responsible for identifying areas for cost improvement and managing tactical projects identified by laboratory personnel.

    This position also provides QC guidance and support throughout the Janssen Supply Chain (JSC) for new initiatives, projects, and areas for improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Remain current on J&J Project Management and Process Excellence methodologies and attend trainings to ensure practices are leveraged for the NJ Stability laboratories
    • Maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
    • Uphold our Credo values including creating a positive work environment · Actively participate in the planning and execution of strategies directed to achieve JSC goals and objectives
    • Support the creation of the continuous improvement approach and capabilities, including transformation and continuous improvement at the NJ Stability Laboratories
    • Manage the execution of strategic projects for the NJ Stability Laboratories
    • Assess end to end laboratory performance processes, evaluate gaps, identify process improvements, and recommend solutions
    • Participate in projects, programs, committees, and special activities that the company promotes toward establishing its strategic goals.
    • Work with laboratory leaders to find opportunities for continuous improvement
    • Plan, Manage, and implement projects for continuous improvement using Johnson and Johnson Production System methodology, eLIMS, iLabs and other network applications.
    • Train / mentor employees on J&J project management methodologies (LEAN, J&J Operating System, Flawless Project Execution (FPX), etc.) to create Operational Excellence SMEs in the network
    • Support E2E Performance Management processes
    • Participate in cost improvement project initiatives
    • Responsible for the identification, management, and execution of cost improvement projects for the laboratory
    • Perform budget support as the point of contact for activities related to cost improvement project tracking and reporting and spend tracking and reporting
    • Provide input / lead functional laboratory meetings
    • Lead continuous improvement teams, projects, and meetings
    • Supports the development and execution of CREDO and Lean Lab action plans and initiatives
    • Support Internal Audits and Health Authority inspections
    • Ensure compliance to Janssen Quality global, local procedures, regulatory / Health Authority requirements, and industry standards

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, supply chain or related technical field required

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • A minimum of 2 years experience of relevant work experience
    • Ability to work with and lead others in a team environment
    • Experience with J&J and / or Industry wide Project Management and Operational Excellence methodologies
    • Experience developing and setting long-term strategic objectives
    • Knowledge and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) related to the QC laboratory and ability to identify/remediate gaps in processes or systems
    • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
    • Ability to quickly process complex information and often make critical decisions with limited information
    • Ability to lead multiple priorities daily while being flexible and responsive to frequently shifting priorities
    • Sophisticated in applying process excellence tools and methodologies
    • Ability to independently lead a portfolio of ongoing projects
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs, work instructions, test methods and protocols
    • Advanced with using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)

    Preferred:

    • Creativity regarding basic problem solving and troubleshooting
    • The Experienced Analyst Process Excellence, QC shall have the capability to develop improvement ideas and independently implement associated solutions.
    • Requires some management guidance/direction
    • Possesses the ability to positively influence peers, key stakeholders, and management
    • Positive and optimistic with the ability to act as a pro-active change agent
    • Lean/ Six Sigma Green belt preferred

    Other:

    • This position is anticipated to have up to 10% travel

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $77,000- $124,200

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
