Care to Stay Home has an immediate need to hire full and part-time caregivers to join our team our team in Northern Idaho. Our goal is to find you the perfect client and shift that meets your needs. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable. We work hard to match you with the schedule and client that best meets your skill level. Typical shifts are 4-8 hours during the day. Week day and weekend shifts available.
Locations: Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Haden, Dalton Gardens, Rathdrum, Spirt Lake, Sandpoint.
Responsibilities include:
Providing essential care and support
Bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
Meal preparation and cooking
Stand by and hands on assistance
Light housekeeping duties
Medication reminders
Bedbound care for more critical clients
Requirements:
One year experience, preferably caring for senior clients
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, which include being able to lift up to 40 pounds, help clients of various heights and weights transfer chairs to beds, repositioning bed bound clients, and helping on standby by assistance as needed. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve client care and mobility requirements.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Commitment to show up to work to provide critical and consistent care to your client
Ability to pass a criminal background and driving record checks with no felonies.
