Job Description:
The individual will be responsible for examining daily tissue biopsies prepared by laboratory personnel, tasked with checking the accuracy of lab tests and interpreting the results in order to facilitate the patient's diagnosis and treatment. He or she works closely with laboratory staff and plays a vital role in providing timely results as part of a patient's primary health care team.

Education:
Medical degree and appropriate licensing; American Board of Pathology Diplomate preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience dealing with gastrointestinal pathology sign out, including either 1 year of fellowship or 2-5 years of experience in general surgical pathology sign out with gastrointestinal pathology exposure.
Compensation:
Based on productivity.
