    Janssen Global Services, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's family of companies, is recruiting for a total of 10 summer interns within the Global Medical Affairs organization. Eight positions will be located in Raritan, NJ and one will be located in Horsham, PA.

    Janssen's Global Medical Affairs Internship program blends real-world experience with an overview of the pharmaceutical industry and Janssen structure. Mentors and project leads will guide interns to gain professional experience in the Global Medical Affairs setting. Interns will be assigned to work as members of one of our Global Medical Affairs teams in the disease areas of Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Pulmonary Hypertension, Cardiovascular/Cardiovascular/Metabolism or Retina. The internship also allows for the opportunity to network with individuals at Janssen in various functions and therapeutic areas.

    In addition to exposure to different therapeutic areas, interns may be assigned projects that allow them to experience different aspects of Global Medical Affairs, including medical strategy, evidence generation, publications, medical education, medical excellence, scientific engagement. The intern may also participate in the collaboration between the Global Medical Affairs team and their cross-functional and regional partners.

    After the internship, interns will share their completed project(s) and experiences with the team.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, biology, biostatistics, health policy, public health, or health services research.
    • Candidates must be currently enrolled or graduating from an accredited college.
    • Candidates must be available for 10 weeks over the 2024 summer for 40 hours per week
    • Candidates must demonstrate computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident.
    • Candidates should have a Global mindset to grow in a fast-paced, diverse work environment

    The anticipated base pay for this position is between $21/hour and $29/hour, but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience.

    This position is overtime eligible.

    Co-Ops/Interns may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
