Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, or "CRMC", is a 25-bed, non-profit, critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949. The Human Resources Assistant will provide office and administrative support for all activities in Human Resources. S/he will function as a general information conduit and front line receptionist for telephone and visitor inquiries ensuring excellent customer service.
JOB DUTIES:
- Support internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Assist with recruitment process by identifying candidates, coordinating the interviewing and hiring processes, conducting reference checks and onboarding
- Maintain associate files through onboarding to termination
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff
- Manage employee database and prepare reports as needed or requested
- Produce and submit reports on HR activities
- Lead and assist with projects and annual activities such as recognition, employee wellness, annual training, employee engagement and other initiatives
- Maintain online internal and external job postings on corporate and third party websites with consistency and continuity
- Support the Human Resources Department with all retention efforts including associate engagement events
- Support coordination of active recruiting efforts
- Promote CRMC’s mission, vision, values, culture and commitment to patient care and quality along with benefits packages as a great employment opportunity
- Assist associates with benefits enrollment and assist associates with finding resources
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Maintain current knowledge on recruiting trends, practices, and information
The Human Resources Assistant assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask
- Professional appearance and ease in developing rapport with others
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Computer skills including MSOffice and Office 365, required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 1-2 years’ human resources experience, preferred
- 1-2 years’ hospital or healthcare experience, preferred.
