    Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, or "CRMC", is a 25-bed, non-profit, critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949. As a rural hospital, CRMC is surprising because of its large size and wide variety of services. Although we can provide many of the same services you will find in a big city, we take great pride in our friendly and caring staff.

    The Human Resources Assistant will provide office and administrative support for all activities in Human Resources. S/he will function as a general information conduit and front line receptionist for telephone and visitor inquiries ensuring excellent customer service.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Support internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
    • Assist with recruitment process by identifying candidates, coordinating the interviewing and hiring processes, conducting reference checks and onboarding
    • Maintain associate files through onboarding to termination
    • Perform orientations and update records of new staff
    • Manage employee database and prepare reports as needed or requested
    • Produce and submit reports on HR activities
    • Lead and assist with projects and annual activities such as recognition, employee wellness, annual training, employee engagement and other initiatives
    • Maintain online internal and external job postings on corporate and third party websites with consistency and continuity
    • Support the Human Resources Department with all retention efforts including associate engagement events
    • Support coordination of active recruiting efforts
    • Promote CRMC’s mission, vision, values, culture and commitment to patient care and quality along with benefits packages as a great employment opportunity
    • Assist associates with benefits enrollment and assist associates with finding resources
    • Maintain confidentiality in all matters
    • Maintain current knowledge on recruiting trends, practices, and information

    The Human Resources Assistant assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask
    • Professional appearance and ease in developing rapport with others
    • Ability to effectively communicate
    • Computer skills including MSOffice and Office 365, required

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Associate Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
    • 1-2 years’ human resources experience, preferred
    • 1-2 years’ hospital or healthcare experience, preferred.
