Job Description
** General Summary**
Under limited supervision, works independently on a regular basis, performing assigned maintenance, installation, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations of imaging equipment in assigned geography. Performs administrative functions as assigned by the Imaging Supervisor, or Imaging Services Manager. Adheres to instructions and corporate policies, and demonstrates professionalism with integrity in all interactions with customers and staff.
** Principal Responsibilities and Tasks**

- People
1. Works closely with management and technical staff.
2. Provides technical support (via telephone or on-site) to other engineers.
3. Provides alternate solutions and seeks concurrence from management prior to implementation.
4. Provides technical training to other Imaging Services Engineers as appropriate.
5. Works with sales and service representatives of imaging equipment.
- Service
1. Services imaging equipment in assigned geography, to include at least one of following equipment modalities: [Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Fixed Angiographic / Fluoroscopic Units (Cath / IR labs)] ** or** 4 or more of the following equipment modalities: [ultrasounds, contrast injectors, mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic units (c-arms), portable x-rays, fixed rad or R&F rooms, mammography, bone densitometry, dental x-rays units].
2. Performs assigned planned maintenance, installation, repairs, adjustments, calibrations and safety testing on a broad range of imaging equipment.
3. Performs incoming inspections, equipment quality control, testing, calibration and image evaluation of equipment according to manufactures specifications and other established guidelines.
4. Services networked equipment, such as DICOM and PACS, and troubleshoots the root cause of problems.
5. Provides strong verbal/written communications consistent with assigned tasks.
6. Performs inspections, quality control and image evaluations.

1. Makes decisions based on clear instructions and operational rules and procedures.
2. Shows initiative, follows established procedures, and works in a safe manner.
3. Assists in decisions related to more complex issues.
4. Monitors and maintains quality control of services provided by outside vendors.
5. Adheres to performance metrics of PM completion, call closure, parts returns, work order completion time and others as assigned.
