Assisting Hands Home Care, a national leader for Home Care services is looking for the best caregivers to join our team of caregivers. We are looking for compassionate, experienced and reliable caregivers for 1:1 care opportunities

Serving Schaumburg IL/ Park Ridge IL and surrounding suburbs.

APPLY IF:

Have 1+ year of caregiving experience

You have a valid Il driver’s license auto insurance and have a reliable car

You have a passion to help those in the community stay safe and happy at home.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to provide physical assistance with transferring

Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have cognitive or behavioral challenges

Please note each client is different and Individual ADLS may differ from client to client.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

Bringing positive energy into each home you serve.

Engagement in meaningful activities of mind and body.

Assist with Activities of Daily Living ADLS (Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).

Light housekeeping, such as laundry, dusting, sweeping

Meals: Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding (If needed)

medication reminders.

Transport/Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
