Care to Stay Home of Post Falls is seeking caregivers interested in full or part-time shifts (20-40 hours a week) in the Hayden, Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene areas. Most shifts are Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Some weekend availability would be helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities include:

Providing essential care and support

Bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance

Meal preparation and cooking

Stand by and hands on assistance

Light housekeeping duties

Medication reminders

Bedbound care for more critical clients

Requirements:

Minimum of one year of caregiving experience, preferably with senior clients

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, which include being able to lift up to 40 pounds, help clients of various heights and weights transfer chairs to beds etc, repositioning bed bound clients, and helping on standby by assistance as needed... The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve client care and mobility requirements.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Enjoy providing companionship and care for seniors to keep them engaged throughout the day. (i.e. not playing on your cell phone while serving a client)

Ability to pass a criminal background and driving record checks with no felonies.
