    Job Summary:

    The Ethicon Surgery US Biopatch Marketing Team is critical to the commercialization of our Biopatch franchise through assessing and developing go-to-market strategies, measuring performance among its competitive set and understanding market dynamics that affect business potential. The Marketing Summer Intern will lead the process of building a insights and analytic package on a infection prevention and accompanying Marketing collateral, critical to Ethicon’s Biopatch business

    The position resides within the US Marketing team and will report to the US Director of Sales and Marketing and will partner with multiple cross-functional partners including Sales, Global Strategic Marketing, Analytics, KOL’s and Value Analysis Professionals. The Summer Intern will start by building foundational knowledge on the subject matter, followed by development of a competitive cost calculator and economic collateral. The Summer Intern will present their work at the conclusion of their internship. Audiences may include the Digital & Marketing Innovation Team, Select Platform Marketing teams and select organizational leaders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research on a Biopatch and value analysis departements to build a comprehensive knowledge base that will be used as a resource by cross-functional partners and Ethicon leadership.
    • Key tasks include:
      • Qualitative: Research subject to build educational package to inform internal and external teams “total cost of infection prevention when using Biopatch”.
      • Quantitative: Where appropriate, capture related quantitative measures on focus specialty to help audience understand scale and opportunity potential

    Qualifications:

    • Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.5 is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • This position will be based in Cincinnati, OH with no travel required.
    • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
