Johnson & Johnson Innovation Medicine, a division of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting a Co-Op to focus on Process Analytical Technology (PAT) supporting our locations in Malvern and Spring House, Johnson & Johnson Research & Development, LLC discovers and develops creative large molecule solutions to address meaningful unmet medical needs in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, infectious diseases and vaccines, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.

PAT enables rapid data collection and analysis for key process parameters with the goal of understanding and optimization or bioprocess, leading to advanced bioprocess control. It is directly linked to the identification and implementation of relevant in-situ sensors, real-time analytical instrumentation, automation, and multivariate data analysis. We are seeking a highly motivated co-op student to contribute to build on our diverse technologies to facilitate our pipeline and support clinical studies.

Do you want to learn how innovative technologies are implemented in BioPharma? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to apply science and engineering to advanced analytics in PAT. The student will work as part of a distributed team but primarily responsible for preparing and handling samples, designing, and testing of compositional variance of complex biological sources, optimizing PAT models to increase accuracy and robustness. The strategy: focus and/or drive a systematic approach to extract much more characteristic molecular fingerprints to build better process models and methods for various bioreaction desirable levels. The chosen candidate will benefit by learning new skills and interacting with a global workforce and culture. You will gain experience and understanding of the biologic's development process at the same time building the future for how we apply PAT tools to pave the way toward the next generation of digital biomanufacturing. We look forward to receiving your application!
