Department: Prevention - Youth Workface Development
Location: Chicago, IL (Austin)
Schedule: Hours vary - Evenings/Some weekends.

_ Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Job Coach will ensure the delivery of skill building, work experiences, academic support, and positive pro-social recreation. The Coach will work directly with youth, youth's placements, and community partners to develop and implement activities that support a goal of developing workplace skills and gaining employment experiences.
Major areas of responsibility for this job include but are not limited to the following: identifying potential employers with a focus of developing employment opportunities for program participants assists with the coordination of employment related events/activities, provides case management support to assist participants (eliminate barriers that can interfere with job retention) , prepares written reports on weekly basis of job development and placement activities.
